The world of fitness can be a very confusing and complex place. There are just so many terms, techniques, methods, workout routines, equipment and supplements that you have to keep track of and understand.

One of the more confusing ones is supplementation. If you don’t understand what BCAA proteins, whey or creatine proteins, and EAAs then this article is for you.

Supplementation is a highly debated topic in the fitness industry and there are hundreds if not thousands of different fitness supplements out there for you to choose that have different effects, dosages, functions, ingredients, and side-effects.

You read that correctly some side-effects can be an issue you based on the ingredients and dose of the supplement, furthermore, this is extremely common in steroids.

Sorting through all that information can be both times consuming and confusing for anyone just getting into fitness and doesn’t know where to start.

That’s why I’m writing this article. To help anyone who’s new to fitness and doesn’t have the time or energy to go through all the information out there on the subject of supplementation.

Along the way, I’ll be answering some questions you may have about supplementation itself and the supplement I’ll be recommending in this post.

Should You Be Taking Supplements?

I don’t have a straight answer to this question because it depends on the person and their unique situation.

But there are cases where taking supplements can help and there are situations where they don’t.

I’ll start with scenarios where taking them isn’t going to have that much impact.

You shouldn’t be taking them if you’re overweight and don’t have as much muscle mass.

Also, you shouldn’t take them if you’re diet is giving you all the essential nutrients you need, but this doesn’t always apply to a calorie-restricted diet.

On the other hand, you should be taking supplements if you need to gain muscle fast and feel like you’re not getting everything you need.

In some cases, you would need to take them if you’re doing intermediate fasting and are trying to lose weight on a calorie-restricted diet.

In situations where someone is trying to lose weight and gain muscle at the same time, I would recommend “Cutting “ supplements.

These supplements help people gain lean muscle mass without having to gain as much weight in the process.

On the other hand, if you’re intention is to gain weight, but not fat and increase your muscle mass overall you should try “Bulking” supplements.

Although taking supplements, in this case, isn’t always needed or recommended.

I'll be honest with you taking supplements isn’t always the answer for most people, but taking them does have positive benefits base on your situation and goals.

Should Women Take Supplements?

Well if you fall in one of the situations I mentioned above, then YES you should.

I’ve noticed that most women shy away from weight training and bulking supplements because they feel it will make them too muscular so they just stick with weight loss pill ( which don’t work sometimes).

Well, ladies, let me tell you that won’t happen. You see women develop muscle mass differently from man and muscle mass in women doesn’t expand at the same level as men.

To be honest, taking up resistance training and weight lifting is a more effective way to lose weight and look sexier in the process.

What’s A Good Supplement For Beginner

As I said before deciding on which supplement to take can be very challenging because of the different ingredients in the supplement and the overall function of the supplement.

So I decided to find a good supplement for someone who has absolutely no idea which one to pick.

After doing some digging in found BlackWolf which is an excellent supplement for anyone who just wants a supplement that can help them increase their performance in the gym, gain muscle faster and help burn fat in the process.

Why BlackWolf?

The reason I choose BlackWolf is because of it’s simplicity and well-rounded, almost all-purpose fitness supplement line-up.

Most other supplement companies have like 10 different supplements that do entirely different things and might not be for beginners who might not be able to take full advantage of them.

Deciding on which one to take can be a challenge for most and buying them all isn’t for someone on a budget.

BlackWolf only provides 3 supplements in one pack, so decision making isn’t as difficult.

Another reason I choose them is that they do what most people would want from a supplement in one simple pack( muscle growth) instead of spreading them out in 10 similar products.

The Pre-workout formula (Track)

The Intra-workout formula (Hunt)

The Post-workout formula (Eliminate)

I’m not a fan of the whole wolf theme going here, but the way the products are separated makes it easy to understand what they are for.

Think of them as the beginning, middle and end of your workout routine.

Another thing worth noting is the fact they make different supplements for both men and women (Hunter and Huntress).

Not many other fitness companies make workout supplements for women. The supplements BlackWolf provides are in the Hunter (men) and the huntress (women) variation.

What’s In BlackWolf?

To answer this I’ll be going over each of their supplement so that you can understand each one.

I won’t be able to go into extreme detail about each one of the ingredients of the supplement, but I can give you a general overview of each one’s function and notable ingredients.

Track

This formula is for pre-workout and should be taken sometime before you start your workout routine.

The main function to give you energy and get your body set up for the workout ahead.

Blackwolf's pre-workout supplement contains about 20 active ingredients (some of them are in they’re proprietary blend aka their secret recipe).

Some of the ingredients include caffeine, beta-Alanine, Creatine Monohydrate and Branch-chain Amino Acids (BCAAs).

Looking at all of these ingredients should give you flashbacks of chemistry and rightfully so.

The ingredient you should recognize the most should be caffeine because it’s the most widely consumed stimulant in the world.

The reason caffeine is there is to give you a boost of energy in the morning, so you may not need to take that morning coffee to get that rush of energy.

Next up is the combo of BCAAs and Beta-Alanine. These two compounds work well in preparing your muscles for your next workout session.

The BCAAs help create an anabolic environment for your muscles. It does this by regulating protein metabolism by increasing protein synthesis (muscle growth) and suppressing protein breakdown.

While the beta-alanine increases muscular endurance thereby increasing the volume you can lift and as a by-product of this increase your gains.

Finally, we have creatine monohydrate. This particular compound is geared toward short rep workouts and gives you explosive strength.

All the ingredients complement each other to step you up for any workout.

Hunt

This is one is for the workout itself. It gives you increased stamina and endurance during the workout session.

This one, in particular, is extremely useful if you struggle to keep up in a workout.

Some of the main ingredients here are L-Isoleucine, L-Citrulline, and L-Valine. There are BCAAs, carbs, amino acids, and vitamins in there as well, but I’m going to spare you the long explanation.

The L-Isoleucine mentioned before is another BCAA and helps your muscles take in more glucose and prevent catabolism.

L-Valine has a similar function to L-Isoleucine because they both help prevent your body from breaking down protein during workouts.

L-Citrulline has different effects compared to the other two ingredients I mentioned. This compound helps reduce fatigue during a workout.

Eliminate

This comes into play after your workout and it’s one of the most important out of the three supplement BlackWolf offers.

Its main function is to reduce muscle soreness and tiredness after a workout and build muscle mass (the main reason you’re taking supplements).

Two ingredients in this supplement that I’ll be focusing on are; Glutamine and L-Carnitine Tartrate.

Although there are other active ingredients involved in the effects of this supplement, these two are real game-changers.

Glutamine is an amino acid that makes up about 61% of all your skeletal muscles (biceps, abs, triceps and chest muscles).

Another thing worth noting is that its about 19% nitrogen, which makes it the primary source of nitrogen to your muscles.

The amount of Glutamine greatly decreases during intense workouts, which causes decreased strength and stamina.

Put simply Glutamine is an important part of muscle growth and development after workouts.

Taking this supplement you’re replenishing your Glutamine stores post-workout which is integral to muscle developments, gains and recovery time.

L-Carnitine Tartrate is necessary for the easy absorption of nitrogen and is also an antioxidant, but that’s not all.

It is also good at transporting fatty acids to the mitochondria in your muscles cells to burn fat even after you stop working out.

It doesn’t end there, L-Carnitine Tartrate can also help you recover quickly and reduce muscle soreness post-workout.

This is a phenomenal effect if you’re looking to lose weight.

Are There Side-Effects?

In general, BlackWolf contains organic ingredients, so you won’t have to worry about taking anything artificial.

However, you should consult your doctor to see if you’re going to have any sort of reaction to it or if you need it.

The supplement doesn’t have any side-effects in general and there are tons of customer reviews online to cross-check that.

How To Get BlackWolf

This particular product isn’t on Amazon or most other online retailers.

So the online place to get this supplement is through the company’s website or with the link in this post.

Even if you were able to get it anywhere else you wouldn’t be able to get all the discounts and offers the BlackWolf store offers.

How To Take BlackWolf?

The main theme of this supplement is convenience and simplicity.

The supplement comes in a powder form and one 30 gram scoop is enough. All you have to do is mix it with water and drink (It tastes pretty good too) so you don’t have to worry about swallowing tasteless pills.

You can mix it with more than just water. You can mix it with milk, juice or a smoothie, so a 10/10 in the taste department.

On the topic of when to take it, that depends when you’re working out. Be it in the morning or the evening. You can take it at either of these times.

In Conclusion

If you’re looking for a fitness supplement that provides supplementation solutions to both men and women you can’t go wrong with BlackWolf. Although other brands sell similar products BlackWolf is one of the few who have a streamlined supplement line for complete beginners to the fitness community.

In summary, BlackWolf provides people who are new to the fitness world and easy, convenient and effective fitness supplement to help you reach all of your fitness goals.
